NCSBA recently released PLS updates for fall 2015. Many of the policy updates will be incorporated and addressed as the board works through the policy conversion process over the next several months. However, some of the updates are being addressed at this time since the policies were previously adopted by the board. There is also one new policy included in the update. Mr. Gibbs will review the policies and answer any questions. The policies are attached. They are presented for first-read information and will be recommended for approval at the next regular meeting.

A motion is in order to accept the eight policies listed below as first-read information:
