At the October meeting, Jim Leatherwood presented a request for the Brevard High School band to perform on a Carnival Cruise ship during Spring Break 2017. School trips that require travel outside if the continental United States must be approved by the board upon recommendation by the superintendent or designee. Dr. McDaris will make a recommendation to the board. The request form, board policy 3320 (School Trips), and regulations 3320-R are attached.
The board may take action on the superintendent’s recommendation.
