North Carolina statute requires board of education members to receive a minimum of 12 hours of professional development training every two years.  Local policy states that members who attend a professional development activity will provide a report of the event to other board members.  On November 13-15, Mr. Griffin attended the NCSBA 48th Annual Conference for Board Member Development in Greensboro.  He will have an opportunity to give a brief report from the sessions.
