Policy 7410, Teacher Contracts, has been revised extensively in order to make the policy consistent with state law regarding the length of contract terms for non-career teachers effective July 1, 2018. As discussed at the work session, Section C of the policy provides four options for determining the length of teacher contracts. The board may select one of the options provided or develop its own method with the assistance of the board attorney. Mr. Weaver will review the policy and answer any questions you may have.
