Earlier this spring, the board submitted its budget request for the local current expense fund, capital outlay fund, restricted grants fund, and child nutrition allocation for the 2019-2020 fiscal year. Board members and administrators have attended several commissioners’ meetings to discuss the FY20 budget request and answer questions. Norris Barger will give an update on the status of the budget, including any new state budget activity. The superintendent’s budget message for FY20 is attached.
