Earlier this year, the Community Relations Board (CRB) of Transylvania County invited the Board of Education to appoint three members to the CRB. They requested that two of the members be high school students and the third to be anyone of the board’s choosing. At the last meeting, the board appointed Alice Wellborn as one of the members. Dr. McDaris will recommend Rebecca Milligan (BHS) and Carla Bolanos (BHS) as the student representatives.
The board may approve the superintendent’s recommendation(s) to the Community Relations Board at this time.
