Dr. McDaris and Mr. Barger will give an update on the 2019-2020 budget, including state budget activity. An updated local current expense budget and summary of fund 2 budget changes for FY20 is attached.

Things that are settled:

Retirement rate increase - 18.86% to 19.70%
Health insurance increase - $6,044 to $6,306
Step increase for teachers and AP’s – 2.55% average for the first 10 steps (we pay our lowest paid teachers locally)
0% increase for noncertified

Things that are outstanding:

COLA increase for all employees
