|
MyFutureNC is a statewide non-profit organization focused on educational attainment and economic development for the citizens of North Carolina. It has a stated goal of having two million North Carolinians earn a high-quality credential or postsecondary degree by 2030. The North Carolina School Boards Association Board of Directors adopted a resolution in support of the work of myFutureNC at their September meeting. Local boards of education have been asked to adopt a similar resolution of support. A draft resolution is attached for your review.
A motion would be in order to adopt the resolution in support of the myFutureNC attainment goal.
