The Board will entertain a motion to go into closed session pursuant to N.C.G.S. § 143-318.11 for the following purposes: under subsection (a)(3) to consult with an attorney employed or retained by the public body in order to preserve the attorney-client privilege between the attorney and the public body and for the Board to receive legal advice regarding the legal proceedings in Michael Ian Maddox, as guardian ad litem on behalf of E.S., O.T., G.T., C.B., P.S., M.M., O.M., C.R., A.L., C.S., J.S., A.W., K.W., J.W., and O.W., vs. Transylvania County Board of Education.
