MSS Annual Service Agreements

HVAC - $141,826.27 (exceeds $90,000 threshold; requires board approval)
A motion would be in order to approve the service agreement with MSS Solutions, Inc., in the amount of $141,826.27 per year for HVAC service coverage as described in the agreement.
Quotes / Contracts
Replacement Ceiling Tiles (Districtwide) – See the attached quote from Home Depot (information and discussion)
Brevard High School Arch Repairs - See the attached 1) quote from Piper Roofing, 2) schematic, 3) engineering report, and 4) contract.
A motion would be in order to approve the contract with J.A. Piper Roofing Company in the amount of $105,717.50 for the Brevard High School arch repair and metal caping project.
Project Amendments
Dr. Fletcher will present two project amendments for Fund 4 Capital Outlay. A copy of the FY25 full capital request is attached as information.
A motion would be in order to approve Project Amendment 1 as presented. A motion would be in order to approve Project Amendment 2 as presented.
Recommendation to Hire Project Manager
Dr. Fletcher will discuss hiring a project manager to oversee the bond projects and make a recommendation to the board.
A motion would be in order to authorize the superintendent to begin the process to hire a project manager to oversee the bond-funded capital projects.
