A list of the applications is available for viewing on our website. Chief Financial Officer Carrie Norris will review the federal applications and then field questions from the Board.

Assistant Superintendent Dr. Brian Weaver will present potential revisions to existing Policy Code: 4318 Use of Wireless Communication Devices for Board approval. The draft Policy is available for review on our website, and Dr. Weaver will be available at the meeting to discuss suggested revisions with the Board.

Superintendent Dr. Lisa Fletcher will request Board approval to permit usage research, including land lease options, of the Board-owned real property located adjacent to N. Country Club Road and Gillespie Circle in Brevard to be conducted by the Board Attorney for future discussion(s) with the Superintendent.

Director of Exceptional Children’s Program and Early Learning Tonya James shall present a Notice of Intent to apply for licensing to facilitate the transition of our K-12 self-contained, separate setting classrooms into Developmental Day (DD) classrooms. Ms. James shall review the licensing process and take questions from the Board.

A motion may be in order to approve submission of the DD Classrooom licensing application.
