|
Principal Tonya Treadway has submitted a proposal to name the new outdoor classroom at Pisgah Forest Elementary School "The Ranger Station" (see attached). School board policy 9300, Naming Facilities, states that the superintendent shall submit a recommended name to the board for approval. Dr. McDaris will make a recommendation.
A motion is in order to approve the superintendent’s recommendation for naming the PFES outdoor classroom.
Dr. McDaris will also present a request from Brevard Elementary School to name an interior area of the school the “Bud and Billie Lawing Interactive Art Gallery.” A description of the project is attached.
