The board will entertain a motion to go into closed session pursuant to N.C.G.S. §115C-318.11 subsection (a)(1) to prevent disclosure of student information that is confidential under 20 U.S.C. 1232g and employee personnel information that is confidential under N.C.G.S. § 115C-319 et seq; and subsection (a)(3) to consult with an attorney retained by the board to preserve the attorney client privilege between the attorney and the public body.
