Dr. Jeremy Gibbs will give an update on the 2018 summer learning programs and answer any questions you may have.  He will request board approval of the “Read to Achieve” summer reading camp.
 
Middle and High School Summer Programs
(includes 2nd EOG/EOC administration as applicable):
June 11-22 (schedules set by schools)
 
Davidson River School Summer Program
June 18 – July 20 (approximately 20 days of operation within window)
 
Elementary Summer Programs
   Read to Achieve (RtA) Summer Reading Camp Grades 1-3:
   June 14-29 (72 hours of instruction as required by statute)
   Grades 4-5:  June 14-22 (schedules set by schools)
   Kindergarten:  August 6-9 or 13-15 (schedules set by schools) 
 
A motion is in order to approve the “Read to Achieve” 2018 Summer Reading Camp.
